Document Control System (DCS): The Document Control System (DCS) is a computer programme which has been developed by the PMCBL, to record all pertinent data related to every document which is received by, or generated by PMCBL staff, relevant to the business of the PMCBL.
The DCS provides a comprehensive record of each document, and provides a search capability to aid in the identification and location of any document which has been catalogued. The DCS is a tool for communication and data publication, as it enables any user of the PMCBL network to easily review documents received and / or generated by performing a date, subject, or keyword search.
