Indonesia, a country heavily reliant on fossil fuels, only consumes about 87.5% of its electricity generation [9,10]. Furthermore, the Java-Bali sector of Indonesia's power generation produces nearly 6000 MWe of excess electricity due to lack of demand [11]. This overproduction provides an opportunity for the installation of an energy storage system that could to balance the electrical network.
