According to Liquor act 2007 no 90:

For all bottle shops and liquor stores, the closing time is 10PM every day of the week.
- 1.30AM lockouts and 3AM last drinks at hotel, clubs, karaoke bars, and restaurant. After 3AM can still open without alcohol service.
- Stop at 10PM for bottle shop.
People who serving alcohol must completed RSA and make sure that you:
- do not serve anyone under 18 years old
- understand the principles of “standard drink”
- do no serve anyone who already intoxicated
- must promote and support a safer environment
- recognize the signs of impending intoxication and do not serve anyone at this point
Revocation of competency cards
- The legislation allows the Authority to suspend or disqualify a person from holding RSA cards for up to 12 months if the Authority think that the person has contravened obligations that relate to RSA.
- Penalties of up to $5,500 apply if a person with a suspended competency card or a person who has been disqualified works in any capacity in a NSW licensed premises.
- Penalties of up to $2,200 apply if a competency card is not surrendered to the Authority.
