The antifungal activity of LMW-chitosan was investigated using
a chemical–genomic screen by exposing the GDA of S. cerevisiae
to 1.75 mg/ml of chitosan and detecting mutants with an increased
sensitivity to the drug. Supersensitive mutants were identified by a
