It is confirmed that the required Student Orientation is SEPTEMBER 7th and 8th, 2013 !!
10:00 a.m. Saturday is the arrival time. It is typically at a camp ground with cabins in Colorado Springs -- location to follow. We keep the students overnight as a way to not only provide them with crucial information about our plans and program details, but also as an opportunity for the students to get to know other students here in their cluster. Our cluster is a combined Colorado/Texas group with special guests dropping in from Idaho for this event!
I can arrange for some of the students to travel with me if needed for the 9/7 arrival/drop off. Or car pooling arrangements can be made within the group of everyone. If you are available to carpool kids, in addition to your own, please make a note here for everyone to see! Or, if you need assistance with getting your student there, make a note here as well! We can make it all work!!
Arrival time for HOST PARENTS to the camp sight will be Sunday 9/8 at 2:00 or 3:00 p.m. (time is still be determined). Host parents will stay for some more program detail, questions/answers and a brief presentation by your students. This will be completed, you can gather your student, and depart at 6:00p.m Sunday. At least one host parent should be present. You will also be able to meet other host families from your part of town and other parts of the state. The final details are still being ironed out which is why some information is lacking. I just wanted to be certain your calendars where marked for this INCREDIBLE EVENT, marking the official start to what I know will be an amazing year!!!!!!
Thank you all!!
