The position will be within the EU funded project LASIMM (Large
Additive Subtractive Integrated Modular Machine). The intent of the
offered position is the development of microstructural and process
models for cold working process to predict the resulting material
properties, especially the microstructure and residual stress fields. In
particular dynamic recrystallization will be accounted for in the
modeling approach. Additionally, the deformation as well as the
forces acting on the deployed robot are investigated and optimized.
Next to modeling activities, the job includes a number of
experimental activities, in particular to obtain the required
information for the model as well as validation data. Therefore, the
job will be in an interdisciplinary environment and offers a number of
possibilities for the personal scientific development
