You raise a good point.ย We will review our process.ย Currently we just need to ensure the client has signed the NDA with us and that their request is reasonable.
On our side we need to make sure the sales person understands what the client needs and we supply only that, and not more.ย We also need RD to explain to sales what types of drawings are "safe" and which ones are open.
We should only provide those drawings which are necessary, and not more, so in this point the sales must understand what is really needed by the client.
To date the main recipient of our drawings has been Siemon and Emerson.ย They do respect our IP as they have spoken to me several times about it.
