Today, Vietnamese culture with its valuable traditions is under two major pressures. The first is that of the duplicity of the market economy setting up gradually in Vietnam which it is rapidly integrating into the world market. The second is that of globalization in every field including that of information. It is clear that in the context of a market economy and globalization information of national boundaries are not so strict as they used to be. These two processes, simultaneously unfolding, not only bring about profound changes in the economy and in all aspects of social life of underdeveloped countries, but are also powerful pressures on traditional ways of thinking.
