Dear All,
WE ARE IN THE BUSINESS TO MAKE MONEY by selling MORE quality souvenirs (Groovy Map) and offering MORE ways to REACH visitors to Thailand (GM Enterprises).
These are the guidelines for Groovy Map products:
1. Sell MORE products at the SAME PLACE first step
2. Introduce new products at the SAME PLACE; return products that do not sell within 3 months.
3. Apply "30-50-70%" rule for re-stock. If 30% sales or less, cut stock.
4. Apply "10 Principles of Display" rules for pricing and display
5. Aim for Higher volume, higher value products on Groovy Map stands. For instance, if only have Groovy Spinner for display, better to sell Magmentos than use same space selling postcards (B50 x 4 facings vs B15 x 1 facing in 4x6" space. B200 vs B15)
6. Don't mix brand categories that don't go. I.e. Roadway with Neck Pillows.
7. ALL PRODUCTS are available to sell except products "reserved" for new customer introductions or "conflict of interest" parties such as stores next to each other like Amarin/Asia Books. There are currently NO PROHIBITED for sale products now. That is, you can sell anything to customers that you think you can, but don't "waste" products at stores not likely to sell (for instance, "Notebooks" at gas stations).
8. and 3D/Calendars/Notebooks/Postcards should really be on their own display stands if possible. The Groovy Map Luxury Spinners should be used for added value-products such as Magmentos, Bag Bling, Groovy Gear, Keychains (Q1 2014).
Guidelines for Groovy Map Enterprises:
1. Give more to advertisers rather than give discounts. Instead of 20% off, give extra 1 month
2. Upsell. Once they want Map Square, see if willing for 40% more to take Horizontal Space that is 80% bigger... If corner Full Size, how about FRONT PAGE... ?
3. Increase Scope of Work: First custom map. Then brochure, then signage...
4. Develop Products: First Official BTS Map, then different language or function editions, like Shopping Guide, Real Estate Guide, .... etc
