But on the other hand these cases are very seldom, we are selling many thousands of Cast Iron traps each year,And only heard about few cases of failure. Sometimes there is a small hole in the castings alreadyWhich does not show instantly, but only after few month in operation.Checked with our QM, the failure rate for traps is close to zero, less than 1%So this will not justify a general design-change, and would not justify to put a stainless steel screwServing as erosion deflector as our serial standard.For this case, we are ready to send a new trap with stainless steel insert free of charge.In case you want to have a stainless steel insert for future orders,This would be subject to price adder, as we could not take the standard traps anymore.The price would be approx.
