From the beginning of my teaching career, I have been concerned about how to teach creative people. I wanted to teach them effectively, but I did not know how I could accomplish this feat. I wondered how I could find a way. I tried counseling, testing, learning more about intelligence personality, and motivation. Finally, I found out about creativity, creative problem solving, and creativity tests. I developed my first creativity tests until 1958, when I became director of the Bureau of Educational Research at the University of Minnesota
