The thai monarch or the King of Thailand had greatly embraced the absolute rule through his kingdom. However, after the ' Democratic revolution' in 1932, the westernized bureaucrats and traditional-oriented military were brought to thai societes. Here, the country was under a constitutional monarchy with a prime minister as the head of government. The first written constitution was issued. The politics became factions fighting among old and new elites, bureaucrats, and generrals. Because the coups happened from time to time, the country was unstable under the rule of another council, i.e. military.
