the shots do it, too: we see sander’s face, the complicated feelings while in the shower, the close ups. we get the blissed out, warm sander in robbe’s arms later on. at the beginning of that clip and for as long as the song lasts, we’re literally in sander’s head. then we go back to robbe, we feel that uneasiness creeping it, but then the clip ends and when we switch to the next one, we’re full in sander’s POV now. heroes is playing and you just know. that’s all sander. sander knows what that song is about. that’s not a soundtrack to robbe’s head —that’s sander. and the filming choices support this so much.
