As you know, ForToday services have been offered in Thailand for some time. Due to the advanced level and difficulty of access, very few students have shown interest in the product. A very conservative estimate is that roughly 500 students in our network use the services provided through FT.Com. Even fewer are subscribed to Financial Times through the website.
Every year, Wall Street Thailand is billed by WSE International to provide ForToday. We can no longer justify the cost in proportion to the students who are using the service.
For this reason, we will discontinue usage of all ForToday services with immediate effect.
Even though we have requested on numerous occasions, WSE International has not given us the number of users or the names of those registered in order to contact them directly to inform them that we will discontinue the use of For Today. Because the number of users is small, we do not want to send a message to all students. For this reason, we need the help of all staff to handle any questions from students.
The response to students who may ask about their ForToday access should be:
ForToday services are no longer available in Thailand.
We will still have social clubs and activities similar to our For Today classes as well as introducing Harvard Managementor classes which are much more valuable!
We are confident that this is the right decision for the business, and that we can count on your support in communicating with any students who may be impacted by this decision. Please feel free to speak to your CD or SM with any questions.
