Lead-basedmaterialssuchasPb(Zr,TiO3) (PZT)havebeen
restrictedbylegislationinsomecountriesduetothetoxicityof
lead,whichjeopardizeshumanhealthandcausesenvironmental
pollution.Inordertomeetthecurrentdemandforenvironmen-
tally friendlydevices,lead-free piezoelectricmaterialsarean
important topicinresearchandsignificanteffortshavebeen
devotedtowardsthedevelopmentofnewlead-freepiezoelectric
ceramics [1,2].Manylead-freepiezoelectricmaterialswithper-
ovskite structure,suchasBaTiO3, (K,Na)NbO3 and Bi0.5Na0.5-
TiO3 basedceramicshavebeenwidelystudied [3–8] as possible
replacementsforPZT-basedmaterials.Amongthesematerials,
