In Buddhism, all states, namely, animals, persons, things, are only the streams of tangibles and intangibles, which are composed of a number of sub-elements, all are dependently conditioned by causes, and relating to each other by their circles of existence and distinction. All those streams alter their formation all the time. We can say that what is called a person is the composition of all streams of mental objects; expection, familiarity; mental-orientation, attitude, Knowledge, understanding, belief, comment or all kinds of appreciation, etc., all of these derive from the transference of culture, training and reaction to inside factors and outside environment, that continue all the time.
