The educational needs of the YBFR in this study were then applied to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs to provide more robust conclusions and implications. In this study, the YBFR identified the need for agriculture business management skills and legal knowledge in terms of a necessity to keep them safe and secure financially relating to Maslow’s (1954) second level of safety.
