This result was further confirmed by the higher MDT
value of 461.93 min (Table 4). While, the formulation (F6)
containing water soluble filler maize starch with spray dried
lactose showed higher release of 66.39 ± 2.12% at the end of 12h.
The increase in release is may be due to solubility of filler in the
dissolution medium and thereby making channels in gel matrix.
