This is for your kind reminder again, about the new kind of virus that’s being spread around the world, which encrypts the Word/Excel/PDF/Picture files and claiming ransom to unlock it. I kindly request everyone not to open any attachments which is from unknown sender and also any files which you feel as suspicious.
Recent attacks are happening through the particular type of word file which has the extension as .docm which denotes the word file with macros. We started blocking this type of file and if anybody received any such files in their mail, are requested to delete it without opening it .
Even though our Security Software is blocking and deleting such files, any new virus which uses the unknown methodology might escape the Antivirus scanning., so kindly don’t open any suspicious files.
