The long term goal of this work is to develop an auger pyrolysis
process model and use the review to determine which pyrolysis
kinetic models were the most robust in terms of prediction of
products as a function of fast pyrolsysis operating conditions and
feedstock. We performed a series of experiments in a batch tube
pyrolysis system outlined elsewhere using different types of
softwood residues (bark, saw dust, saw chips) controlling moisture
content of feedstock.
