Methods
1. The bearer at the casualty's chest slips one arm under
the neck and the other arm under his upper-back.
2. The bearer at the casualty's hip slips one arm under the
casualty's lower-back and the other arm under his thighs.
3. The bearer at the casualty's legs slips one arm under the
casualty's knees and the other arm under his ankles.
4. All bearers shift their weight backward in unison and lift
the casualty to knee level, keeping the casualty as level
as possible.
5. All bearers turn the casualty's front toward to their
chests.
6. All bearers rise to their feet in unison.
7. All bearers move forward, carrying the casualty high on
their chest. (This lessens fatigue while transporting the
casualty.)
