From Buddhism’s point of view, all states do not have an absolute or original cause, that is, we can not trace back to anything’s origin, as it is an endless connection of a number of dependent states, which are all conditioned by causes. Human-beings are the composition of tangible substance, that is body, and intangible substance, that is the mind. Between both substances, the mind is the more important component, as in a proverb saying, “Mind is the master, body is the servant.”, or, “There is nothing as important as human-beings, but of most important is the human mind.” The mind is therefore the foundation and the most significant portion in human behaviour, as all one’s thoughts, speech and actions are totally under the mind’s authorization.
