There have been cases where Chevron didn’t receive notice of leave in advance, resulting in insufficient time to rearrange the flight that the team has booked for you. This leads to the record of “No Show” at Hangar as well as lack of manpower on the rig.
In order to maintain a good level of service, I would like to ask for your cooperation in giving a notice of Vacation / Business Leave at least 3 days in advance, or as soon as you receive an approval, to all parties involved. This is essential to flight arrangement and manpower planning and to prevent any kind of operation disruption.
In the event you fail to do so, Chevron may raise a complaint and that will bring negative feedbacks to your annual review. So I encourage you to plan your holiday in advance, get it approved, and forward it to the people in your loop as soon as you can.
