What is the general relationship between mass, acceleration?
The change is the direction of the acceleration is proportional to the force applied to the mass. Basically, i see a ball rolling towards me. I push it really hard, it will roll away really fast. Or i can push it really lightly and it will roll away really slowly.

The change of momentum of a body is proportional to the impulse impressed on the body, and happens along the straight line on which that impulse is impressed.
